Color Me Beautiful Make-Up Book

Color Me Beautiful Make-Up Book - Carole Jackson I have a friend who is skeptical about the entire Color Me Beautiful system. She says she's been diagnosed as a Winter, Spring and Summer! It may just be that things are move complicated than just four types. I found at least one website that you can separate people into 12 or 16 types. So I might be a "Deep Winter" while my friend might be a "Spring Soft." I do know this system makes some sense to me as to why anything Orange is to be avoided and few Browns work for me. The classic Color Me Beautiful focused on wardrobe, this one focuses on makeup--not just the appropriate palette for your season but tools and application--even the steps to a perfect manicure. Of course this could use updating--this was published in 1987--and goodness fashions change--especially in nail polish where some shade of pink or red is certainly no longer the rule!
